Your SCADA System, Without Location Limits

Adroit Technologies' ultra-intuitive Adroit Connect modems seamlessly connect and integrate with Mitsubishi Variable Speed Drives using the Modbus Serial protocol, giving you the power to remotely monitor and control your VSD from our online portal via PC or mobile device.

In today's remote working world, businesses must adjust to the new normal and give their employees the technology they need to get things done from anywhere. Adroit Connect is a simple and cost-effective monitoring, control, and programming solution that allows you to remotely manage and set up your Mitsubishi Variable Speed Drives, saving you from unnecessary trips to the site.

From Control Room to Anywhere

Adroit Connect modems seamlessly connect and integrate with the Mitsubishi Variable Speed Drives via Modbus Serial, giving you the power to remotely control your VSD from our online portal. From here, you can program all of your VSD's parameters, changing the speed, direction, on/off times, and more. Our portal also gives you access to advanced analytics and readings, as well as immediate error alerts, so you can stay informed and up to date on what's happening with your drive no matter where you are. Remote support is available from the Adroit Support department.

The Adroit Connect modem can connect directly to Adroit SCADA with a special driver that was developed for this purpose to monitor the VSD's. These drives are supported: FR-A800, FR-E800, FR-F800, FR-D700, FR-CS80, and FR-D700. When using the FR-A800 or FR-F800 VSD, a serial communication module is required. For SCADA applications, it is only possible to monitor the VSD and change parameters. VSD start and stop are not supported.

Features

The online portal platform connects and integrates seamlessly with the Adroit Connect Modems so you can start monitoring your drives right away.

Receive instant notifications via SMS or email when a VSD fault, alarm, or threshold breach is detected — keeping you informed the moment something needs attention, wherever you are.

Access real-time operational data from your Variable Speed Drives at any time through the Adroit Connect portal — current, voltage, frequency, run status, and more, all updated live.

Adroit Connect operates over standard cellular and broadband networks, giving you reliable connectivity to field devices in remote locations, across multiple sites, or behind firewalls.

The Adroit Connect modem integrates directly with Mitsubishi Variable Speed Drives via Modbus Serial — no additional hardware or complex configuration required to get started.

All data transmitted between field devices and the Adroit Connect portal is fully encrypted. Role-based access controls ensure only authorised personnel can view or modify system settings.

Adroit Connect is built on proven Adroit SCADA technology with high-availability infrastructure, ensuring your remote monitoring connection remains stable even in challenging network conditions.

The Adroit Connect portal is designed for ease of use — an intuitive dashboard gives operators and engineers immediate access to all monitoring, control, and reporting functions without specialised training.

Operate Without Boundaries

Live View

When you access the device page on the portal, it connects to that device's VSD and pulls current operational data from the drive, allowing you to view real-time data from the drive.

Historical View

Adroit Modems poll readings from the drive at set intervals, creating a series of graphs over time that are then saved for future reference.

MAP View

This displays a live overhead satellite view of all your devices situated in one area, which is useful to see which VSDs are running in the field and which are not.

Remote Control View

Turn your VSD on and off or schedule future start/stop times.

Parameter Programming View

Remotely program and modify all VSD parameters to maximise efficiency.

Fault Notification View

When you are connected to your drive source, the online portal will display an error notification so you know immediately when something is wrong.

Questions often asked.

Adroit Connect is a remote access solution that allows users to securely connect to SCADA systems and view real-time operational data from anywhere. It uses Adroit Connect modems to link Mitsubishi Variable Speed Drives to the Adroit online portal, enabling remote monitoring, control, and parameter programming via PC or mobile device.

The Adroit Connect modem connects directly to a Mitsubishi VSD via Modbus Serial. It then transmits data over a cellular or broadband network to the Adroit Connect online portal, where authorised users can view live data, historical graphs, receive fault alerts, and remotely adjust drive parameters — without being on site.

Adroit Connect supports the Mitsubishi FR-A800, FR-E800, FR-F800, FR-D700, FR-CS80, and FR-D700 Variable Speed Drive series. When using the FR-A800 or FR-F800, a serial communication module is required. Note that VSD start and stop commands are available only via the online portal; SCADA integration supports monitoring and parameter changes only.

Yes. The Adroit Connect portal supports multi-user access with role-based permissions, so operators, engineers, and managers can each have appropriate levels of visibility and control. All access is authenticated and encrypted to ensure system security.

Remote SCADA access via Adroit Connect is valuable in any industry where Variable Speed Drives or PLCs are deployed in distributed or hard-to-reach locations — including agriculture, water and wastewater utilities, mining, manufacturing, building services, and energy. It is particularly useful for reducing site visit costs and improving response times.
