Transform Industrial Data
into Intelligent Decisions.
Adroit SCADA Intelligence collects, processes and contextualises information from multiple operational sources - turning fragmented historical data into trusted reports, dashboards and analysis for faster, better-informed decisions.
From SCADA Data to Actionable Intelligence
Adroit SCADA Intelligence (ASI) is an out-of-the-box industrial data warehousing and business intelligence solution. It collects historical information from disparate operational sources and organises it within a common, structured environment, transforming raw and fragmented data into meaningful information that can be used for reporting, analysis and decision-making.
ASI applies an ISA-95 Expanded Equipment Hierarchy to contextualise information by site, area, equipment, time and production activity. Its Extract, Transform and Load process retrieves data, validates and summarises it, adds operational context and stores it in an optimised data warehouse and Operational Data Store.
What Adroit SCADA Intelligence Does
Features and Benefits
Collect, process and organise historical information from multiple operational systems in one centralised analytical environment.
Benefit: Replaces fragmented data silos with a consistent source of trusted information for operational and business decision-making.
Retrieve time-based historical data from Microsoft SQL databases, manual data input, OLE DB sources, LIMS databases, SCADA historians and compatible third-party applications.
Benefit: Brings information from different systems together without requiring separate reporting solutions for every source.
Organise information using the ISA-95 Expanded Equipment Hierarchy so data is associated with meaningful dimensions such as enterprise, site, area, process cell, equipment, time and production activity.
Benefit: Gives raw values operational context, making information easier to compare, understand and use across the organisation.
Extract information from source systems, clean and validate it, apply calculations and context, summarise it and load the processed results into the ASI repositories.
Benefit: Reduces manual preparation and provides consistent, organised information for reliable reporting and analysis.
Configure data connectors, processing schedules, context models, source specifications, archiving and backups while monitoring processing duration, system performance and error logs.
Benefit: Simplifies administration and reduces the time, effort and cost required to implement and maintain the intelligence solution.
Store summarised information in an optimised multidimensional data warehouse while retaining contextualised higher-resolution raw information in the Operational Data Store.
Benefit: Balances efficient enterprise analysis with access to detailed information when deeper investigation is required.
Model information in an OLAP cube for rapid querying and use drag-and-drop analysis through ASI Analyser, Excel PivotTables or compatible business intelligence tools.
Benefit: Enables users to explore trends, relationships and performance without requiring advanced SQL or database-design skills.
Use off-the-shelf templates, sample reports and reusable report parts for trending, counter views, quality, energy, process, performance and industry-focused reporting, or adapt them for specific requirements.
Benefit: Accelerates report development while providing the flexibility to create and share tailored operational insights.
Connect Excel directly to the ASI OLAP cube for native PivotTable analysis and use the ASI tabular data model with Power BI through Adroit Data Services.
Benefit: Allows teams to analyse and present information using familiar tools while retaining one governed industrial data model.
Present KPIs through dashboards, scorecards and reports; host integrated reports in web controls; and export reporting-services output to Excel, PDF, Word or CSV while retaining report structure.
Benefit: Makes relevant information accessible in the format and application best suited to each operational or management audience.
Technology Stack & Data Flow
How Adroit SCADA Intelligence Works
Adroit SCADA Intelligence connects to diverse operational data sources, processes and contextualises historical information, stores both summarised and higher-resolution data, and presents the resulting intelligence through reports, dashboards and interactive analysis from one common platform.
Acquire Operational Data
Retrieve time-based data from SQL databases, manual inputs, OLE DB sources, laboratory systems, historians and compatible third-party applications.
Transform and Contextualise
Use scheduled ETL processing to clean, validate, calculate and summarise the data, then add ISA-95 equipment hierarchy and operational context.
Store and Model Information
Load summarised information into the multidimensional data warehouse, retain contextualised raw data in the Operational Data Store and model the information in an OLAP cube.
Analyse, Present and Share
Explore information through ASI Analyser, Excel and Power BI, and communicate KPIs through standard or custom reports, dashboards, scorecards, web controls and structured exports.
